We’re just a short drive from Keswick, Buttermere, and the renowned Honister Slate Mine. Scafell Pike , England’s highest mountain is also within easy reach, making us an ideal stop for walkers and adventurers alike. The route to the pub takes you past stunning natural sights, including the dramatic fells of the Borrowdale Valley, the shimmering waters of Derwentwater, and the majestic peaks of Catbells and Grange Fell. Along the way, you’ll encounter historic landmarks like Rosthwaite, Honister Pass, and the iconic Honister Slate Mine.
